Since receiving my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Miami, I have spent the last ten years working closely with patients who are facing a variety of emotional challenges. I am a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and have a deep compassion for human suffering. I believe that each person has the capacity to make changes in their lives and I am committed to holding my client’s hand through the tough times—yet I will never enable them. During therapy, I roll-up my sleeves and together my clients and I do good work. I believe that working directly and honestly, I can help people create real solutions and take steps that make a difference in their lives. From me, people who are suffering receive loving and supportive care. They also gain a strong advocate and a therapist who is not only straightforward, but also practical and can offer workable solutions to their issues. When clients turn to me for help they can be assured that I will not just sit back and listen complacently as they talk—I will always advise them, in a kind, open and caring way. I am bilingual and delighted to work with clients from every cultural background. |
